Banana is a great post-workout fruit and is really easy to combine since almost everything goes well with it. For a more refreshing taste, you can freeze the bananas combining them with cold milk and some frozen raspberries. This will give you a great protein boost.
One of the best-smelling fruits, the strawberry will give a great taste to the smoothie and will add carbs to the mix, complementing the potassium-rich banana. Usually, the amount we suggest is 1 cup of chopped up strawberries per one banana and then you can add bonus ingredients like peanut butter by choice. This is a nice carb boost with a smaller protein boost.
For this smoothie, you will need to combine 1 spoon of cacao powder, a cup of milk or yogurt, one spoon of chia seeds, half a banana, and finally if you like you could add some protein powder with chocolate taste, making this a protein-heavy smoothie!
