We can always count on Outdoor Voices to give us comfy and high-performance workout clothes, and they’ve really outdone themselves with their latest collection. They joined forces with Rapha and launched a new line for passionate cyclists.

You’ve met the riders and seen the sights on our Californian road trip with @outdoorvoices, but what about the individual pieces in our latest collection? For an insight into each, we spoke to the team behind the designs. ⁣ ⁣ Inspired by the trip to Mallorca that started it all, terrazzo floors and walls were an influence from the outset. The use of an earthy colour palette compliments the print whilst overlapping fabric and transparent panels recreate the visual effects of terrazzo.⁣ ⁣ Head to the link in our bio to shop the collection and read the full interview with the design team now.

Rapha’s official statement describes their collaboration as “a collection for riders and recreationalists, for brand new cyclists and specialists alike which pairs performance fabrics, beautiful patterning, and pastel colors.”

Cycling can seem a little serious sometimes but it really doesn’t have to be. Riding your bike is an adventure, a conversation, an escape from reality. It means many things to many different people but we can all agree on one thing: cycling is freedom.⁣ ⁣ To prove it, we took four riders on a Californian road trip last autumn with one simple mission: to make the most of that freedom. With that in mind, we assembled four riders in Los Angeles, loaded up a (not at all) reliable Volkswagen camper and headed east into the desert towards Palm Springs. It was a trip that promised spontaneous stops with dinosaurs, Madonna-inspired hairstyles, beautiful rides and much more besides to celebrate the new Rapha + @outdoorvoices collection.⁣ ⁣ Head to the link in our bio to meet our riders Alexa, Monika, Jen & Verity.

The two brands had one goal in mind—pairing Outdoor Voices’ playful designs with Rapha’s performance-driven technology and creating cycling gear that’s stylish and comfortable at the same time. They came up with the idea to reimagine cycling essentials for women during a cycling adventure in Mallorca two years ago.

If you can’t imagine a single day without riding a bike, this collection has all you need. It features padded bike shorts, shirts, and sports bars, but also comes with stylish cycling jerseys and a lightweight and durable windbreaker.
