Which genre you prefer, high-energy music is hard to argue with. It gets your blood pumping and allows your adrenaline to course through your body. While high-energy music can be valuable in this scenario, it’s possible that it’s the last thing YOU, in particular, need. Maybe you’re someone that’ll respond better during a workout to soft-indie, or smooth jazz. Or heck, even a podcast for that matter! The best thing you can do for yourself is test a bunch of things out until you find something that works well for you. There are no judgments because whatever gets you to perform best is the obvious choice you should go with.
