]]>With 350,000 subscribers and counting, Thorne is one of YouTube’s biggest rising fitness stars, and her workouts are best known for their infectious positive energy. Thorne’s main goal is to come up with workout videos that will put a smile on your face, and she usually does that by choreographing them to the beat of popular songs.
To keep up with this running theme, she shared another amazing dance cardio workout just in time for Halloween. It takes around 20 minutes to go through her “Get Freaky HIIT Dance Workout” but you won’t even feel the time go by because all the exercises are super-fun.
To make the whole thing even better, Thorne made some pretty amazing choices when it came to her Halloween workout playlist. “Disturbia” by Rihanna, “Cannibal” by Kesha, and “Heads will Roll” by Yeah Yeah Yeah’s are some of the songs included in this video, and you’ll burn some major calories while working out to their beat.

]]>This high-energy workout from Jamie Kinkeade, the founder of and instructor at The Studio by Jamie Kinkeade, includes “Ghostbusters”, “Thriller”, and other Halloween-themed hits while incorporating high knees, squats, and dance moves for a full body cardio workout.
If the makeup, lighting, and costume don’t scream Halloween, we don’t know what else would. Led by HyperBody®, a multimedia artist and AFAA-certified group fitness instructor, the simple choreography will get you moving in no time.
If high-paced dance choreography isn’t your thing, try this strength workout which uses a pumpkin. Brought to you by BCRPA-certified trainer Kelsey Ellis, you’ll do 12 reps of each exercise with one to two minutes of rest between sets. Some of the exercises you’ll do include sumo squats with bicep curls and single-leg deadlifts with rows.

]]>Kyra Pro is planning to spend October filming spooky workout videos, and she kicked things off with her Disney mash-up clip. The list of songs featured in this video includes Disney Parks Halloween tune “It’s Halloween-lo-ween”, the Wizards of Waverly Place theme song, “Friends on the Other Side”, The Princess and the Frog, and “I Put a Spell on You” from Hocus Pocus.
Kyra Pro also included “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and her subscribers are hoping she’ll dedicate an entire workout to this movie alone. Despite their spooky theme, the songs in this video are upbeat and it’s pretty easy to work out to them.
The workout itself lasts for 20 minutes, but the moves are not too complex and you can get through them with ease. It features many jumping exercises, but there are also many different variations of squats and arm exercises involved, so you can get a pretty great full-body workout along the way.

]]>Yes, it’s important to be mindful of calories when choosing a sweet, but calories don’t give us the full story. Just because something is lower in calories, it doesn’t mean it’s the healthier option. Sugary favorites like Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, and Sweedish Fish may be lower in calories than chocolate options like Almond Joys, Snickers, and Kit Kats, but it doesn’t make them the healthier option.
If you can, always aim for dark chocolate options when they are available. Dark chocolate has less sugar added than other chocolate and it’s best to aim for chocolates that have at least 70 percent cacao.
In addition, chocolates that contain nuts usually have less sugar added and they will keep you feeling satisfied for longer.
Halloween candy comes in fun-size and bite-size options, which is great for portion control. Just be mindful of how many pieces you are eating and remember it’s okay to enjoy yourself!
