]]>Cela admitted she constantly compared herself to others at the beginning of her fitness journey in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. She eventually came to a point where it became clear she’ll never look like people that she’s comparing herself to because we’re all different.
“I want people to stop falling into the trap of thinking that there’s only one way to train, and that by training the same way someone else does, you’ll get the exact same results. I could train the same as you, eat the same as you, and sleep the same as you, and we’d still look completely different,” Cela told Cosmopolitan.
Her approach makes total sense, and she recommends another useful technique—putting the unfollow button to some good use. Cela admitted she unfollowed anyone that made her feel uninspired because it’s toxic to constantly compare your life to others’ since you’re not on the same path.
