Sarah’s Day Shows Us the Reality of Living a Healthy Lifestyle in Motherhood

If you don’t already know about Sarah’s Day, Sarah is an Australian influencer who got her start on YouTube years ago. Her channel included all things fitness, health, and nutrition. She was known for loving and sharing intense HIIT workouts–helping her followers get “shredded” bodies (as she called it). 

Fast forward about 4 years, and Sarah is now a mother of two children, the youngest less than a year old. Her social media has gradually shifted from all fitness to a mix of lifestyle, fashion, food, and fitness content. Despite the shift away from the amount of fitness content she uploads, she is still looked up to by her followers for workouts—they just look a little different now!

She is honest in her posts about the challenges of balancing motherhood and fitness, sharing that sometimes all she can do is some bodyweight exercises in the backyard as her children play around her. 

People love her for her honesty and raw content that shows it’s okay to lose sight of a perfect fitness schedule when the seasons of your life change. She talks about how the types of exercises she used to love are less enticing to her now. Now, she prefers her low-intensity pilates sessions or simply going for a walk with her family.
