There is so much more you can do with matcha than just sipping it in a tea. There are tons of reasons to start having more matcha including the health benefits like that it’s high in antioxidants, boosts brain function, and it promotes heart health. It’s a super-ingredient that can be used in tons of dishes and here are four ways to cook with matcha.

Breakfast Grains

When you eat oatmeal, stir in a teaspoon of matcha tea to add some antioxidants and a bit of caffeine to your breakfast. You can also use matcha to flavor the cooking water for rice, farro, or quinoa.

♡ matcha oatmeal bowl︎ ♡︎ . . . A little bit obsessed with matcha again recently. So I like to have matcha with everything ? the other day I made this matcha oatmeal bowl and it was seriously boommm ?? Ok I know some of you may not like the bitterness in matcha therefore I got a solution for ya? . . Here are the ingredients I used to make this matcha oatmeal: 1 sachet of @harrawaysnz Kamahi honey & golden syrup quick oats 20g @harrawaysnz whole grains rolled oats 10g @thea.nz collagen energy blend 120ml or maybe more @sogoodnz soy milk Everything in a pot under medium low heat, constantly stirring until it starts to thicken. Pour into your favourite bowl then move on to toppings. Harraways’ honey and gold syrup oats gives a natural sweetness to it so when it combines with matcha, the whole won’t taste as bitter. As the sweetness got it covered ? . . Toppings: bananas, quinoa puffs, blueberries, almonds, pomegranate, @goodforstore freeze dried strawberries coated with dark chocolate then drizzle over @cocomanuts smooth coconut Almond butter ? You don’t get the jitters and palpitations (unless you drink a lot of it) and it’s also packed with catechins (EGCG, EGC, ECG, and EC) that are incredibly potent and can help your body detox.
