Whether it’s a friend, a partner, or just an acquaintance who has similar fitness goals, doing your workouts together can increase the likelihood that you’ll stick with them, as well as increase trust and teamwork. Here are some fun two-person workouts to get you started.

15-Minute High-Intensity Workout

This short, high-intensity workout from fitness Instagram NourishMoveLove is perfect for doing at home when you and your buddy have a little spare time. It’s a body-weight workout, meaning you don’t need any extra equipment and it consists of 10 different exercises. For some you’ll use each other for support and others you’ll clap or move together.

Full-Body Gym Workout

If you don’t want to physically rely on your partner (and you’re at a gym), you can try this switch-off workout from Thumbsupfitness. Here, each partner rests while the other does a round of exercise. This is a slightly more hands-off way to give moral support and have someone to “tag you in” so you don’t cool down too much between rounds.

Full-Body Workout

This is another workout you and a friend can do together with a series of equipment-free exercises. In this one, you will in some cases support each other’s weight or try to challenge your friend to stay strong. Have fun!

10 Min Couples Workout Challenge

This workout routine is 10 minutes long. The title says couples, but you can really do it with anybody if you skip the kissing. It includes workouts for your core, shoulders, legs, chest, glutes, quads, and hamstrings.

20 Minute Full Body Partner Workout (High-Intensity/No Equipment)

If you want something a little bit more intense, this 20-minute body weight workout is fast-paced and challenging, but still plenty of fun to do with somebody else!

Partner Bodyweight Workout

This partner workout is in honor of mother’s day and it’s meant as a mother-daughter routine but, of course, you can really do it with anybody. It’s also nice and quick so you can get it done fast and move on with your day of family bonding.
