The world of healthy food is constantly expanding with new trends and one of the latest among them is pistachio milk. This non-dairy milk is delicious, healthy, and perfect for replacing dairy in many recipes. Here’s why you need it in your diet.

The biggest reason you’re not seeing pistachio milk everywhere yet is its price. It’s expensive to make, so it’s difficult to find a carton for less than $8 and there are plenty of plant-based milk choices that cost less than that. So why is it so amazing? Pistachio milk contains more potassium than other non-dairy milks, it’s an amazing source of antioxidants, and it’s very rich in heart-healthy fats.

If you can’t find pistachio milk in stores, you can make your own at home. All you need are some pistachios, water, tools, and time. In order to make it, it’s necessary to soak pistachios in water and leave them overnight, then rinse and drain them in the morning, blend them with water, and drain milk through a fine mesh strainer. This milk can be kept in the fridge for up to three days.
