]]> If you thought your fitness routine would be derailed during the holidays, Alicia Keys is giving us ample inspiration to keep going. The “You Don’t Know My Name” singer has been an ambassador for Athleta since earlier this year, and has now dropped her first holiday collection!

Designed by the multiple Grammy Award winner, the Athleta x Alicia Keys collection was inspired by those closest to her. “I love enjoying my circle of friends and loved ones during the holidays, so when I was designing this collection with Athleta, I wanted to create an offering that would save women time with versatile options to wear and give as gifts,” she says.

The collection offers the comfort we crave from athleisure wear, but with enough style and sophistication that can be dressed up for a holiday party. Think gold puffer jackets, cherry-red structured pants, cashmere tunics, and super soft bodysuits.

“I love that there are pieces for everyone, which was important to me when designing this collection. Everything was designed to make women feel special and give them a range of styles—no matter their size.”

]]> From Simone Biles to Allyson Felix, Athleta collaborated with some of our favorite celebs in the past, and Alicia Keys is the next one in line. She’s celebrating International Women’s Day by joining forces with this activewear brand for a brand-new line of cozy workout essentials.

The launch of Keys’ collection with Athleta will coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8th, and that’s not a coincidence. Her main vision for this collection was to arm women and girls with the tools needed to step into their power and potential.

“I was drawn to Athleta because we both want to encourage women to discover, accept and OWN their power. We’re all about the uniqueness of women, body positivity, and creating a lifestyle that showcases our immeasurable power within,” said Keys said in a press release.

The singer’s collection will feature Athleta’s best-selling leggings and crop tops in earthy tones, bright pink jumpsuits, oversized zip-up hoodies, wide-leg pants, and more activewear staples. The products will range in size from XXS to 3X, and they’ll be available on Athleta’s official website.

In addition to co-designing her own activewear line, Keys is also joining forces with Athleta for their Power of She Fund grant program, which provides grants to businesses led by women of color.

]]> After five years of being sponsored by Nike, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has found the perfect partner in crime with another brand. She signed a new apparel sponsorship with Gap’s female-focused Athleta brand, and their first activewear line is on the way.

In an official press release announcing her partnership with Athleta, Biles said she’s hoping this new collaboration will give her the opportunity to encourage young girls to reach their full potential and be a force for change.

“I admire Athleta for their commitment to recognize and support women’s individual and collective strength and, together, I believe we can help girls to confidently and passionately take on the world in their athletic endeavors and beyond,” said the Olympic gold medalist.

Biles’ first activewear line with Athleta still doesn’t have an official release date, but she’s expected to work collaboratively with the brand’s team to bring it to life. Athleta’s chief product officer, Jana Henning, said they’re certain Biles will bring the same elements of confidence, strength, and grace that she’s known for to this partnership.

In addition to curating a line of exclusive apparel for Athleta, Biles is also expected to facilitate conversations that will inspire and uplift young women to reach their full potential.

]]> Allyson Felix’s routine completely changed after the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was postponed, but she manages to keep herself busy. In addition to staying committed to her training, the Olympic sprinter also designed her first Athleta collection.

Felix spent years dreaming of designing her own activewear collection and she found the perfect partner in crime in Athleta. She had a clear vision for her first line and she wanted to design highly functional performance wear that looks as good as it feels.

“I know firsthand that when you feel good, you perform and play better. These pieces had to be able to perform at the highest level – to be able to move with my body without any distractions. They also needed to exude my own personal style and make me feel beautiful,” said the Olympic champion in a statement.

Athleta’s limited edition collection with the decorated athlete dropped on their official website on August 18th. In addition to featuring all our favorite gym essentials, such as leggings and sports bras, it comes with several track-specific pieces perfect for runners. Felix even designed several products for the Athleta Girl line, aimed at her youngest fans.

The first drop features a total of 29 pieces, with a strong focus on flattering leggings, but it also comes with several sports bras, bikers shorts, and match point dresses.

Everyone who tried Athleta’s new collection had nothing but words of praise for this brand, and it seems like they’re extremely proud of their latest environment-friendly drop.

“The new SuperSonic fabric is made for high intensity workouts, which can include running or spinning. Because the fabric is wicking and breathable, it helps me deliver my best performance by eliminating sweat stains and leaving me feeling ready to conquer the rest of my day,” wrote Athleta team member Cindy Fernandez on Instagram.
