Masterminds at this Gap-owned company came with an idea to eliminate 15 tons of scraps from their garment-cutting process, by recycling them into new clothing. That’s how they invented SuperSonic – sleek and lightweight technical fabric, perfect for all kinds of workouts.
The first drop features a total of 29 pieces, with a strong focus on flattering leggings, but it also comes with several sports bras, bikers shorts, and match point dresses.
Everyone who tried Athleta’s new collection had nothing but words of praise for this brand, and it seems like they’re extremely proud of their latest environment-friendly drop.
“The new SuperSonic fabric is made for high intensity workouts, which can include running or spinning. Because the fabric is wicking and breathable, it helps me deliver my best performance by eliminating sweat stains and leaving me feeling ready to conquer the rest of my day,” wrote Athleta team member Cindy Fernandez on Instagram.
