]]>Splashing around in the water is tons of fun for dogs who know how to swim, especially on a hot day. If you live near a beach, take them out to the water and run on in with them! Make sure not to go too deep so you can keep ahold of your dog. If you have a backyard, you can also use a kiddie pool or a sprinkler and run, chase, or just jump and splash around with them!
Lots of dogs think tugging on a rope is just the best time and for you pulling the rope away and trying to hold it while your dog bites down with all its weight will work out your upper body, especially for bigger dog owners. It’s also a good way to train them not to bite, as if their teeth come in contact with you you can simply stop the game consistently so they understand exactly what triggers “no more fun”.
An obstacle course for your dog! You can set it up with household objects, and then you can run through it with your dog or take turns with them. This will be great fun for the dog and will work off lots of energy—plus it’ll be a fun workout for you as well!

This is an ideal exercise because every time you are kneeling, you can train your dog, as well. While teaching your dog the “sit” command, you can get your legs in shape, as well.
The great thing about push-ups is that you can do them on the ground or on a bench in a park. While walking your dog, take a break and practice your dog commands, such as “stay” or “down”, while doing a few push-ups.
