]]>There are two ways to EMOM—one is completing a set number of reps of an exercise within one minute and then using the remainder of the time to rest and the other involves doing as many reps of an exercise as possible within one minute and then switching to another exercise the next minute with a designated minute of rest in between.
EMOM training is a great way to boost the intensity of bodyweight workouts, especially when you don’t have the equipment you would have access to at the gym. While completing EMOM training, it’s important to nail your technique for each move before increasing your speed and endurance.

]]>When you’re not in the mood for something low-key like yoga or pilates, do this 10-minute workout that consists of nothing but 100 burpees. Seems easy? Wait until you try it! The 100-burpee challenge was created by trainer Christi Marraccini, head of production and founder of GO on NEOU Fitness.
How can you do it? Set a timer for 10 minutes and do 10 burpees during each of the minutes. The only time you get to rest is if you have some seconds left in the minute after finishing 10 burpees.
The principle is simple, but the workout is far from easy. “This is a lot of burpees,” Marraccini told Shape. “It was a challenge even convincing Jaime (my partner) to do it with me! With that said, it is a challenge, and with practice, everyone can accomplish it at their pace and level.”
