]]>If you just absolutely need your hair off your neck, sometimes a high pony isn’t enough. Turning your high pony into a bubble braid is the perfect solution. All you have to do is put your hair into your regular slicked-back high pony (be sure to secure any flyaways that want to escape!). Then, take smaller bands and tie them going down the length of the ponytail in 1-2 inch sections. Continue until you run out of hair!
French braids aren’t just great for camp, they’re also super practical for the gym. Sometimes regular braids still allow fallout throughout a workout, but French braids keep your hair against your scalp. This style is especially good if you have a lot of angles or layers that tend to escape from other hairstyles!
If you simply don’t have the time or patience to braid your hair, a low bun will always do the trick. It keeps the hair off of your back and won’t get in the way if you are doing any exercises that require lying on your back!

Put it back in a not-too-tight bun to keep you and your fellow gym-mates safe.
If you have bangs or hair that falls into your face, you’ll probably want to clip it back. A really good headband might also do the trick, but headbands tend to migrate backward with movement. Especially if you have short hair that you can’t put up, clipping your bangs back from your face is a sure-fire way to keep them where you want them.
If your workout of choice involves putting something on your head like a hat or a helmet, a ponytail or bun will make getting it on difficult. A braid is the perfect way to keep your hair back with something else on your head. You can also do a French braid to keep it tight!

]]>It’s not recommended to do a full-wash after every workout, but it doesn’t hurt to rinse your hair. You can use a bit of conditioner to get rid of the smell, and try to do a full-wash only once or twice a week if you see your hair is suffering from extensive shampooing.
Letting your hair run wild during workouts is pretty impractical and distracting. Putting your hair in a ponytail or knot is a better option, and it will keep all the sweat solely on your scalp.
Using dry shampoo is good, but a short-term solution to get your hair into better shape. It can do miracles for you as long as you follow the instructions, but make sure not to use it too often since it may damage your hair.
