]]>The Mulholland Drive star admitted her workouts are more demanding than they used to be because she has to put in more effort and focus on different things – including weight training.
“As you get older, you have to work harder to keep muscle tone, so that’s why I do strength training with weights. Not the three-pound kind but with higher-level weights using barbells. I have a trainer, because I can’t exercise very well if I’m not being instructed,” explained Naomi Watts.
Weight training is not the only fitness routine she uses to stay fit. The Oscar-nominated actress is also a huge fan of yoga, and she also has a Pilates Reformer at home. Watts doesn’t work out on a regular basis solely because she wants to stay in shape, but also because she “loves the feeling of exercising”.
