]]>The challenge in question is called “4 Weeks of Focus”, and it will be available on the Openfit app starting January 11th. A set of dumbbells is the only piece of equipment you need to take part in this challenge, and the program consists of five 30-minute sessions a week. It will include challenging HIIT and metabolic resistance training workouts, and Mitchell will be joined by her friend Stephanie Shepherd every step of the way.
The Pretty Little Liars star explained her decision to join this fitness challenge by saying she’s struggled to keep a routine in 2020, but she’s now looking forward to making a healthy change.
“It’s been tough to stay motivated, so I want to use the new year to reinvigorate healthy habits, routine, and most importantly healthy human interaction! I feel like fitness is a great place to start… I’m at my best when I’m being healthy and active!,” wrote Mitchell on Instagram.

When she needs some extra motivation to stay committed, Mitchell plans on relying on an accountability partner. The actress works out with her friend Stephanie Shepherd to give her that extra push to exercise.
In 2021, Mitchell is aiming to be more mentally present by checking in with her friends and family more often and limiting her screen time.
Her last goal is to have less screen time and to stay in the present moment. Mitchell takes an hour or so each day to unplug from her phone, and she uses yoga to relax and forget what’s going on around her.
