Shay Mitchell Explains Her “4 Weeks of Focus” Fitness Challenge

Fitness challenges are one of the most motivational ways to stay active, and even the world’s biggest stars aren’t immune to their charm. Shay Mitchell recently started her own, with a little bit of help from HIIT Burn co-founder Kelsey Heenan.

The challenge in question is called “4 Weeks of Focus”, and it will be available on the Openfit app starting January 11th. A set of dumbbells is the only piece of equipment you need to take part in this challenge, and the program consists of five 30-minute sessions a week. It will include challenging HIIT and metabolic resistance training workouts, and Mitchell will be joined by her friend Stephanie Shepherd every step of the way.

The Pretty Little Liars star explained her decision to join this fitness challenge by saying she’s struggled to keep a routine in 2020, but she’s now looking forward to making a healthy change.

“It’s been tough to stay motivated, so I want to use the new year to reinvigorate healthy habits, routine, and most importantly healthy human interaction! I feel like fitness is a great place to start… I’m at my best when I’m being healthy and active!,” wrote Mitchell on Instagram.
