We’re always looking forward to each of Ashley Graham’s collaborations because she makes sure to work with inclusive brands. That’s certainly the case with her partnership with Knix Activewear, and their first collection together features stylish workout pieces for women of all shapes and sizes.

In addition to launching a new line with a brand, Graham also became their first-ever global ambassador. While discussing their collaboration with Harper’s Bazaar, the model revealed that she was pregnant during the photoshoot, adding this shows how versatile the collection really is.

“I was wearing [Knix] when I was pregnant with Isaac, I was wearing it all through my postpartum, and now I’m wearing it again while I’m pregnant. And it molds to me, it’ll grow with me, there’s compression where I want compression and not,” said Graham.

The Knix Active line features a total of 30 items ranging from high-impact and low-impact sports bras, leggings, and sweatshirts that comes in sizes from XS to XXXXL. Graham especially loves their comfy and supportive sports bras, designed to fit bra bands from 28 to 44 and cups A to H. About a year ago when supermodel Ashley Graham was about six months pregnant, she debuted Thank Bod, a YouTube fitness series created alongside her trainer, Kira Stokes. When she launched the series, Graham was a mom to be and she wanted to inspire women to love their bodies during pregnancy, “Being a mommy-to-be, I wanted to show other women that we can still show our bodies self-love and gratitude during pregnancy, while also building our mental strength and determination,” Graham told Shape in 2019.

After giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby Graham has returned for a brand new season of Thank Bod. “Last season I was very pregnant and when I filmed this season I was 7 months postpartum,” Graham wrote in an Instagram post announcing the new season. “After going through all those changes I wanted to show you new approachable workouts that can meet you WHEREVER you’re at and help you learn to love your body.”

Season 2 starts with a 5-day workout challenge where each day targets a different part of the body. The first video features a full-body workout with bodyweight squats, plank walkouts, high plank shoulder taps, jumping jacks, high knees, reverse lunges, marching bridges, and push-ups. The second video focuses on abs. Both videos are around 8-minutes long.

When you’re not feeling like working out, who better to motivate you than one of the best tennis players of all time, Venus Williams? A few days ago, Williams shared an Instagram Live video that you can still watch in which she works out with a special guest, plus-size model Ashley Graham. You can watch the video below.

Join the two amazing women as they focus on working the upper body, glutes, and thighs. The whole workout takes less than 30 minutes, but you’ll be surprised by how effective it is. There are so many things that you will love about it, including the fact that you don’t need any special equipment. All the exercises are done in a standing position. Let Williams guide you together with Graham as you work through arm raises and a series of exercises that work your back, shoulders, and arms. Moves like standing kickbacks and forward kicks will activate your lower body.

“Today I had no idea really what I was going to do. I was in the gym this morning, and… I started playing around a little bit and these are the exercises that came out of it,” Williams tells Graham in the video. She noted that one of the main reasons she exercises is to avoid injuries while playing tennis.

Model Ashley Graham and actress Kristen Bell are super relatable and authentic. Recently, the two powerhouse women spoke with Elle about their relationships with fitness and they bonded over their mental health approach to fitness.

Graham and Bell spoke about how working out has been beneficial for their mental health during quarantine. Bell does daily live-stream workouts led by Los Angeles-based trainer Charlie Curtis and Graham teams up with her mom a few times a week for virtual workouts with her trainer Kira Stokes.

“I have such anxiety and depression ebbing and flowing that one way I balance it is by working out,” Bell shared. “Working out has been so important for my mental health and sanity,” Graham added.

The two women weren’t always big on the mental health benefits of working out. Bell told Elle that fitness was “never a priority” growing up and that “it was something that I had to learn to embrace because of my mental health.”

Graham said that her parents were athletes who played sports in college and that growing up, she was thrown into sports including basketball, soccer, volleyball, and softball. “We’ve just always moved our bodies and gotten sweaty and been active,” the model said. It wasn’t until she moved to New York City to model at 17-years-old and started getting criticized for her body that she realized working out made her feel good.

Graham recently shared an Instagram video that shows her taking an old pair of rollerblades she used to ride in high school for a spin around her neighborhood. She was inspired to do “a few laps in between Zooms” after seeing everyone on TikTok was suddenly taking up rollerblading.

Teens on TikTok may be obsessed with this fun activity because it’s trendy to do it right now, but that doesn’t minimize its health benefits. Rollerblading is a super-effective workout, which can improve your balance and flexibility.

Rollerblading also targets several lower body muscle groups, including quads and glutes, and it’s a great alternative for other cardio activities, such as running and cycling.
