These precautions mean making sure to include plenty of fiber in your diet, mostly through vegetables. If you can’t eat the required amount, consider fiber supplementation.

According to Dr. Kaminski, fiber is important for preventing inflammation, digestive disorders, and reducing the risk of potential carcinogenic effects. “Taking enough fiber has been shown to prevent constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, hemorrhoids, stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and diverticulitis,” he explains.

A majority of leading pizza chains don’t provide a wide range of options for people on a keto diet, but Blaza Pizza is no longer one of them. They just became the first chain in the US to offer a tasty keto-friendly crust to their clients.

Their keto pizza features keto crust, spicy red sauce, mozzarella, ovalini mozzarella, bacon, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach, but it’s not the only low-carb option on the menu. Blaza added an additional three pizzas to their “Life Mode” offer, including protein, vegan, and vegetarian pizzas.

Blaze Pizza executive chef Bradford Kent admitted it wasn’t easy to completely change the way they make their crust, but it was important for them to provide options for all of their clients.

“As the first national chain to unveil a keto crust, Blaze’s innovation is changing the way that guests think about and eat pizza. We’re making pizza an option, even for those on a low carb diet,” said Kent in a statement.

  • Stevia or Splenda sweetener to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut oil and peanut butter in a glass bowl, then put it in a bigger dish full of hot water. When it gets warm, stir to combine.
  2. Add cocoa powder and sweetener and blend until it’s compact.
  3. Leave to cool and enjoy!

Being on a keto diet means that you are cutting carbs and sugar. So what to eat then, you might wonder? We present to you a yummy keto-friendly breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onion – chopped
  • 1 medium head broccoli – chopped
  • 1 clove garlic – minced
  • 8 eggs
  • ¾ cup organic 2% milk
  • 1 tsp Siracha
  • 1 tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup organic cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp paprika

The Preparation

Preheat your oven at 375⁰F and spray cooking spray in the mini-muffin tin. Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat then add the chopped onions and sauté for about 4 to 5 minutes or until they become translucent. After that add the broccoli and garlic and cook it until they become soft.

In a medium bowl combine the eggs and milk together by using a fork, add the Sriracha and mustard and give it a good mix.

Divide the broccoli mixture between each prepared mini-muffin cup, sprinkle cheese on top of broccoli mixture and then pour the blended egg mixture over broccoli and cheese mixture. Lastly, sprinkle with paprika.

Bake it for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned. Serve it immediately!

A majority of leading pizza chains don’t provide a wide range of options for people on a keto diet, but Blaza Pizza is no longer one of them. They just became the first chain in the US to offer a tasty keto-friendly crust to their clients.

Their keto pizza features keto crust, spicy red sauce, mozzarella, ovalini mozzarella, bacon, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach, but it’s not the only low-carb option on the menu. Blaza added an additional three pizzas to their “Life Mode” offer, including protein, vegan, and vegetarian pizzas.

Blaze Pizza executive chef Bradford Kent admitted it wasn’t easy to completely change the way they make their crust, but it was important for them to provide options for all of their clients.

“As the first national chain to unveil a keto crust, Blaze’s innovation is changing the way that guests think about and eat pizza. We’re making pizza an option, even for those on a low carb diet,” said Kent in a statement.

Keto diet is one of the most popular nutrition trends in the world and it consists of eating low-carb and high-fat food in order to maintain a healthy weight. Kourtney Kardashian is one of its many fans and she recently explained why she’s embracing it once again after a two-year-long break.

The famous reality star wrote a lengthy post detailing her keto journey on her newly-launched lifestyle blog Poosh. She described it as the best method she had found to train her body to curb sugar cravings and burn fat.

“My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months… I’ve been treating myself lately and really want to get back on track, so I’ve committed myself to keto for the next month,” wrote Kardashian.

Despite its many benefits, the keto diet is not for everyone and the reality star advised her fans to consult a doctor before giving it a go, the same way she did the first time she tried it.

In addition to sharing her personal keto journey, Kourtney Kardashian also detailed her meal plan, which usually consists of breakfast smoothies, protein-based salads, mixed greens, egg whites, chicken, salmon, and cauliflower or broccoli rice.

Here’s the full recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Stevia or Splenda sweetener to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut oil and peanut butter in a glass bowl, then put it in a bigger dish full of hot water. When it gets warm, stir to combine.
  2. Add cocoa powder and sweetener and blend until it’s compact.
  3. Leave to cool and enjoy!

This spread has 212 calories, 21.7 grams fat (13.5 grams are saturated), 3.5 grams carbs, 4.1 grams protein.

Being on a keto diet means that you are cutting carbs and sugar. So what to eat then, you might wonder? We present to you a yummy keto-friendly breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onion – chopped
  • 1 medium head broccoli – chopped
  • 1 clove garlic – minced
  • 8 eggs
  • ¾ cup organic 2% milk
  • 1 tsp Siracha
  • 1 tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup organic cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp paprika

The Preparation

Preheat your oven at 375⁰F and spray cooking spray in the mini-muffin tin. Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat then add the chopped onions and sauté for about 4 to 5 minutes or until they become translucent. After that add the broccoli and garlic and cook it until they become soft.

In a medium bowl combine the eggs and milk together by using a fork, add the Sriracha and mustard and give it a good mix.

Divide the broccoli mixture between each prepared mini-muffin cup, sprinkle cheese on top of broccoli mixture and then pour the blended egg mixture over broccoli and cheese mixture. Lastly, sprinkle with paprika.

Bake it for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned. Serve it immediately!
