Keto diet is one of the most popular nutrition trends in the world and it consists of eating low-carb and high-fat food in order to maintain a healthy weight. Kourtney Kardashian is one of its many fans and she recently explained why she’s embracing it once again after a two-year-long break.
The famous reality star wrote a lengthy post detailing her keto journey on her newly-launched lifestyle blog Poosh. She described it as the best method she had found to train her body to curb sugar cravings and burn fat.
“My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months… I’ve been treating myself lately and really want to get back on track, so I’ve committed myself to keto for the next month,” wrote Kardashian.
Despite its many benefits, the keto diet is not for everyone and the reality star advised her fans to consult a doctor before giving it a go, the same way she did the first time she tried it.
In addition to sharing her personal keto journey, Kourtney Kardashian also detailed her meal plan, which usually consists of breakfast smoothies, protein-based salads, mixed greens, egg whites, chicken, salmon, and cauliflower or broccoli rice.
