]]>Capacity at ice rinks has been reduced under different guidelines in each country, often at under 50%. Since only small groups are allowed, it’s good to pre-book your ice skating session if that option exists at your local ice rink.
If you want to avoid the crowds, ice rinks are best avoided during peak time. If you can book a session before noon, you won’t run into many people, especially if you’re going there on workdays.
Ice rinks may be operating under limited capacity, but it’s still extremely important to follow the guidelines. Don’t try to show off and always try to keep a safe distance, sanitize your hands and equipment according to safety measures, and remember that wearing a face-covering is encouraged, even when not specifically required.

]]>There has to be a significant distance between frisbee players so they can throw the disc properly. Social distancing shouldn’t be an issue, but it’s important to keep this in mind and stick to playing in smaller groups to avoid getting too close to each other.
Despite the social distance, you’ll still be touching the frisbee disc throughout the game. It’s recommended to clean discs and wash your hand regularly, but it’s equally important to avoid touching your face.
If playing with other people sounds too risky, disc golf is your best bet. Instead of playing catch with other players, you can simply try finding a park with a disc golf basket. You can play it solo or with other people, and having a disc of your own will make it much safer than regular frisbee.

]]>Tennis is one of the best sports for the era of social distancing because it doesn’t require direct person-to-person contact. You’ll never have to come extremely close to your opponent, and it’s extremely easy to stay six feet apart from each other.
If you decide to play doubles, make sure to team up with someone from your household that you’re already seeing every day. If that’s not the case, do your best to maintain physical distance and only play one-on-one.
Despite the fact tennis can be played at a safe distance, it’s still important to adhere to the usual safety protocols. Wiping down your equipment after leaving the tennis court is a must. You can also take extra persecution by bringing your own set of tennis balls to serve with. It’s also crucial to not touch your face during the match, especially after handling equipment.

]]>This visionary method was introduced by the LMNTS Outdoor Studio, and several media outlets quickly gave it a quirky nickname “bubble yoga”. Each person participating in these yoga classes gets their own private dome, where they can maintain a safe distance.
The classes take place in 50 outdoor private, clear, frameless, geodesic domes, giving each participant 110 square feet of private space. The domes are designed to produce a greenhouse effect, and they have heaters to mimic the experience of hot yoga, while also featuring cooling fans. Domes are cleaned and sanitized between each class.
This is only a temporary workout experience, and we’re yet to see if the LMNTS Outdoor Studio will announce more classes after July 31st. Their yoga bubbles are quite an investment, but we’re looking forward to seeing if any more fitness studios will embrace them in the future.
