Getting into jogging is easier said than done, and let’s be real, we’ve all had our fair share of slumps where we didn’t jog for months on end. But once the time finally comes to get back into it, it can be sometimes hard to mentally check back into our routine. For that reason, we’ve decided to share with you our secret method for getting back into our rhythm.

The Initial Problem

What’s the one thing that always gets us down while we’re jogging? That we’ll feel tired and quit while we’re halfway through our run. But a lot of the time, the only reason we stop running is because we’ve been running so hard, and thus are having trouble keeping up with the high level of speed.

Eternal Motor

When running, you should have the mindset of: “It doesn’t matter how fast I go, but I’m not stopping”. There’s nothing wrong with going slow, and even running in place on many occasions. There’s a certain therapeutic energy and philosophy to this mindset and one that actually reflects on life in many ways. The idea is to always have the “motor running”. By doing this, we’ll be constantly exercising even when we don’t go anywhere!
