How to Find Time for Working Out During Holiday Season

Most people struggle with fitness motivation during the holiday season, and one of the contributing factors is that our schedule is too packed. Between hanging out with our friends and family and preparing food for the occasion, finding time to hit the gym can be tough, but these three tips are here to help you stay active during the holidays.

Short Workouts

The fact you don’t have a whole free hour to hit the gym shouldn’t stop you from working out. Find one of the short home workouts on YouTube and use them to stay in shape even if you only have 10 or 15 minutes at your disposal.

Time for Yourself

If brief workouts don’t do it for you, try to free up some time to hit the gym at least once or twice a week. Do it on slower days because you deserve some “me time” after being overwhelmed by all the holiday planning.

Use Every Chance You Get

Who said you have to hit the gym to stay active? Use every chance you get to add some semblance of a workout to your daily routine. Do some light exercises while cleaning your home, carry the bags from the grocery store for extra training, and turn every chore into a tiny workout.
