At the age of 45, TODAY morning show host Sheinelle Jones is proof that age isn’t a factor when it comes to getting into the form of your life. As she trains for her first-ever full marathon, Sheinelle has revealed exactly how she is preparing to tackle this momentous challenge.

When You Don’t Have Time, Make Time

Sheinelle explained that while she doesn’t have long to go until her marathon, she made sure to allocate enough time each day to physical fitness, making sure to immerse herself entirely in her regimen during each session. “When I go out for a run and when I’m training, that’s me time,” Sheinelle explained.

Swimming And Cross-Training

Celebrity fitness routines tend to be pretty hardcore, especially when they’re preparing for roles in major action movies. They can even lead to pretty bad burnout, and Zac Efron learned that first-hand while preparing for a role in Baywatch, which had a negative impact on his mental health.

The former Disney star opened up about the struggles he went through while training for this movie in a recent cover story for Men’s Health. He was overtraining, not sleeping enough, taking diuretics along the way, and achieving his Baywatch body proved to be a pretty dreadful process.

“That Baywatch look, I don’t know if that’s really attainable… I started to develop insomnia and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering,” the actor explained.

It took six months for his body to finally feel right again after this experience, and Efron later took a sabbatical in Australia that made him reevaluate his approach to fitness. He considered falling out of shape, but he didn’t “feel alive” that way, so he decided to work out again—but on his own terms.

If Efron’s experience throughout us anything, it’s that you should never push yourself too hard and look for a fitness program that makes you feel good instead of making you look good.

With over $1 billion earned so far, Spider-Man: No Way Home is the biggest box office hit of 2021 and Tom Holland is its shiniest star. He went through quite a transformation since taking on the role of Peter Parker, but how did he prepare for this undertaking?

According to the actor’s personal trainer, George Ashwell, they worked on an intense five-step workout plan, mostly consisting of bodyweight moves. Holland gained 15 pounds of muscle preparing for the role and his routine consisted of these five moves:

  1. 60 seconds of bear crawls
  2. 20 shoulder taps for each arm
  3. 20 dumbbell thrusters
  4. 20 renegade rows for each arm
  5. 20 to 30 pushups

The actor performed them in this order, without rest between raps, and only took a 60-second break after finishing pushups and moving on to the next set. He repeated this cycle as many times as he could during each session, and performed several moves with a pair of dumbbells in hand.

After No Way Home, Holland is set to appear in Uncharted alongside Mark Wahlberg. His workout routine for this project was even more intense because he wanted his physical frame to rival Wahlberg’s.

“I was in good shape, but I wasn’t by any means big. We went home for five months, all I did was eat and train, eat and train, eat and train – to put a bit of timber on, to make me look not like a child next to Mark,” Holland told Total Film.

Rebel Wilson went through quite a transformation since embarked on a self-proclaimed “Year of Health” back in 2020. Her weight loss journey was a subject of countless headlines past year, and the Australian actress recently admitted she’s frustrated by the public obsession with her body.

Wilson rose to prominence with the role of “Fat Amy” in the Pitch Perfect franchise and received a lot of media coverage after losing over 60 lbs. after kicking off her “Year of Health” by changing up her eating habits and committing to daily workouts.

Wilson recently discussed her transformation with the Daily Telegraph and admitted it’s been frustrating to get “more press” about losing weight than she ever did from her acting roles.

“The attention has all been ‘when I do nothing except lose weight.’ People are so obsessed with it. But I get it. Oprah is one of my heroes. She’s certainly struggled with eating issues and I would always watch her episodes when she spoke about that,” said the Australian actress.

Brie Larson is currently taking a break from her YouTube channel, but that’s not stopping her from sharing amazing workout videos with the world. The Captain Marvel stars recently surprised us with a series of truly epic fitness videos that show her getting ready to play Carol Danvers again.

Larson shared several pretty relaxing workout videos on her YouTube channel throughout the pandemic, but her latest see her going back to her strict training regimen. To stay in shape, he’s relying on help from her trainer Jason Walsh, who also counts Liam Hemsworth and Chloë Grace Moretz among his celebrity clients.

In one of her recent workout videos, Larson can be seen doing squats while lifting an incredible amount of weight at her home gym. The video was followed by a cheeky caption that read “no toes were hurt in the making” because she did the entire routine barefoot.

Another video shows her doing squats with a unique piece of workout equipment called Exxentric, used for flywheel training. The machine in question is known as KBox, and it’s been created with intense workouts and serious strength-building exercises in mind.

Celebrity fitness routines tend to be pretty hardcore, especially when they’re preparing for roles in major action movies. They can even lead to pretty bad burnout, and Zac Efron learned that first-hand while preparing for a role in Baywatch, which had a negative impact on his mental health.

The former Disney star opened up about the struggles he went through while training for this movie in a recent cover story for Men’s Health. He was overtraining, not sleeping enough, taking diuretics along the way, and achieving his Baywatch body proved to be a pretty dreadful process.

“That Baywatch look, I don’t know if that’s really attainable… I started to develop insomnia and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering,” the actor explained.

It took six months for his body to finally feel right again after this experience, and Efron later took a sabbatical in Australia that made him reevaluate his approach to fitness. He considered falling out of shape, but he didn’t “feel alive” that way, so he decided to work out again—but on his own terms.

If Efron’s experience throughout us anything, it’s that you should never push yourself too hard and look for a fitness program that makes you feel good instead of making you look good.

With over $1 billion earned so far, Spider-Man: No Way Home is the biggest box office hit of 2021 and Tom Holland is its shiniest star. He went through quite a transformation since taking on the role of Peter Parker, but how did he prepare for this undertaking?

According to the actor’s personal trainer, George Ashwell, they worked on an intense five-step workout plan, mostly consisting of bodyweight moves. Holland gained 15 pounds of muscle preparing for the role and his routine consisted of these five moves:

  1. 60 seconds of bear crawls
  2. 20 shoulder taps for each arm
  3. 20 dumbbell thrusters
  4. 20 renegade rows for each arm
  5. 20 to 30 pushups

The actor performed them in this order, without rest between raps, and only took a 60-second break after finishing pushups and moving on to the next set. He repeated this cycle as many times as he could during each session, and performed several moves with a pair of dumbbells in hand.

After No Way Home, Holland is set to appear in Uncharted alongside Mark Wahlberg. His workout routine for this project was even more intense because he wanted his physical frame to rival Wahlberg’s.

“I was in good shape, but I wasn’t by any means big. We went home for five months, all I did was eat and train, eat and train, eat and train – to put a bit of timber on, to make me look not like a child next to Mark,” Holland told Total Film.

Rebel Wilson went through quite a transformation since embarked on a self-proclaimed “Year of Health” back in 2020. Her weight loss journey was a subject of countless headlines past year, and the Australian actress recently admitted she’s frustrated by the public obsession with her body.

Wilson rose to prominence with the role of “Fat Amy” in the Pitch Perfect franchise and received a lot of media coverage after losing over 60 lbs. after kicking off her “Year of Health” by changing up her eating habits and committing to daily workouts.

Wilson recently discussed her transformation with the Daily Telegraph and admitted it’s been frustrating to get “more press” about losing weight than she ever did from her acting roles.

“The attention has all been ‘when I do nothing except lose weight.’ People are so obsessed with it. But I get it. Oprah is one of my heroes. She’s certainly struggled with eating issues and I would always watch her episodes when she spoke about that,” said the Australian actress.

Despite the mixed feelings about the media coverage regarding her fitness journey, Wilson said she’s proud of the fact she managed to lose and maintain weight for the first time in her life. She also added that her “Year of Health” wasn’t about reaching a certain size, but about loving yourself and loving the journey that you’re on.

Brie Larson is currently taking a break from her YouTube channel, but that’s not stopping her from sharing amazing workout videos with the world. The Captain Marvel stars recently surprised us with a series of truly epic fitness videos that show her getting ready to play Carol Danvers again.

Larson shared several pretty relaxing workout videos on her YouTube channel throughout the pandemic, but her latest see her going back to her strict training regimen. To stay in shape, he’s relying on help from her trainer Jason Walsh, who also counts Liam Hemsworth and Chloë Grace Moretz among his celebrity clients.

In one of her recent workout videos, Larson can be seen doing squats while lifting an incredible amount of weight at her home gym. The video was followed by a cheeky caption that read “no toes were hurt in the making” because she did the entire routine barefoot.

Another video shows her doing squats with a unique piece of workout equipment called Exxentric, used for flywheel training. The machine in question is known as KBox, and it’s been created with intense workouts and serious strength-building exercises in mind.
