If your workouts have a little bit of everything, you need sneakers that are versatile. This is where the cross-trainer sneaker comes in. These sneakers grip the floor and have sufficient traction, stopping you from sliding around. Here are the best cross-trainer sneakers for your workouts.

The Cloud X 3

The Cloud X 3 sneakers are great for all types of workouts because they are really supportive and have high shock absorption. This brand behind the shoes creates sneakers that are light and flexible for strength training as well as cardio.

Hylete Circuit II Cross-Training Shoe

The Circuit II Cross-Traning sneakers by Hylete are the most supportive and they come with three insoles that you can swap out depending on what activity you are doing. They’re really comfortable for every workout and have cushioning in all the right places, protecting your feet at all times.

No Bull Wild Rose Trainer

No Bull sneakers are really popular in the cross-training community and they come in a variety of styles and colors. You’ll even want to wear them out of the gym. There’s a guard plate which is a 360-degree shield around your foot, so they’re a little bit stiffer than other sneakers, but just as versatile.

Running shoes are an essential piece of equipment for cardio. They enhance performance, improve foot health, prevent injury, and make your run more enjoyable. But it’s not always clear what features make an optimal running shoe. Here are some things you should consider when buying running shoes.

Toe Length

It’s best if you have a thumbnail length of space at the foot of the shoe for your toes to breathe because your feet swell when you run. You might find yourself buying shoes a half or a whole size larger than usual.

Supports the Ankle

A common running injury is a twisted or sprained ankle. As you run, a lot of pressure is applied to the ankle joint and it’s important that your running shoes can support it.

Bouncy

The best running shoes will feel bouncy when you take a step. This reduces the impact on your knees and ankles, helps your rhythm, and enhances performance.

Lining

It can sometimes be advisable to seek out running shoes that have breathable mesh or a Gore-Tex membrane that protects against moisture, sweat, and cold. This is especially useful if you live in cold or wet climates.

Backpacks are essential to many forms of sports training and exercise, such as hiking, canyoning, and adventuring in nature. But with so many backpacks flooding the market, it’s not always easy to know what to look out for in a good backpack. Here are four things to consider when looking for a quality backpack that suits your needs.

Is it the Right Size?

Backpacks come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The right size will depend largely on what you need it for. Small backpacks are in the 6-10 liter range, daypacks between 10-30 liters, medium between 30-50, and large are over 60 liters.

Does it Distribute the Weight?

A good backpack will distribute weight evenly across your whole body. This will protect your back, shoulders, and neck from strain injuries. Backpacks that distribute weight well will typically have sternum straps, waist straps, and adjustable arm straps.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B-g4RQ1Dgjv/

Is it Breathable?

Backpacks often cause the back to get quite sweaty. Good backpacks will have a breathable mesh that will help your skin breathe.

Does it Have Compartment Space?

Backpacks come with a range of different compartments and pockets. Think about what you will need it for and go for one that looks useful.

As the weather begins to change, outdoor conditions will become wetter, muddier, and colder. But this should be no excuse for letting up on your exercise goals. There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. Here are the clothing essentials you need to consider for your outdoor exercise this fall.

Socks for Dry Feet

If you are running outside it is essential to keep your feet dry and warm. If you don’t, this is likely to cause discomfort and injury. The best way to avoid this is to invest in some sports socks with a Gore-Tex membrane, which retain heat and prevents moisture.

The Right Shoes

As running trails become more slippery and rugged, it’s important that you have the optimal shoes. They need to have good support, a stable construction to prevent your ankle from rolling, and excellent traction with a non-slip sole.

Layers

It’s best to have multiple layers of clothing ranging from a water and wind-resistant outer jacket to sweat-resistant under-armor. This will help retain body heat, repel unwanted moisture, and can be easy to take on or off as necessary.

Sports bras were first invented in 1977 by Lisa Lindahl and they have come along way since those days. Many of the large brands; Nike, Lulu Lemon, and Adidas, have all started creating better high impact sports bras. They make sure the construction works and they are also comfortable for all your sporting needs. The fabric plays a large part in the design and you will see more bras made from moisture-wicking materials and smart spots for airflow. You also don’t want to bounce around whilst running, so the support is needed all around the breasts to keep you feeling self-conscious. Here are some of the best on the market when it comes to sports bras.

Brooks Run Bras

Brooks is known for making running clothes and they don’t disappoint with their variety of running supportive sports bras. There are many designs to choose from to suit all body types and lots of variety of colors to match your shorts or leggings.

Athleta Sports Bars

Athleta sports bras come in a range of styles and colors for all your sports needs. The material is breathable and the bras are supportive. They also have matching leggings and tops so you can go to the gym in style.

Nike Sports Bras

Nike knows sportswear and they really cater to women and making sure comfort is on the top of their list. They have lots of styles to choose from and with their dry-fit material you will feel cool and dry whilst working out.

Coming up with the motivation to get ourselves to go to the gym is half the struggle. Why not make it easier by wearing activewear clothes we love? When we look good we feel good, which makes us want to workout, even on our laziest days. These are our five favorite workout trends for the fall/winter season.

High-Neck Sports Bra

These sports bras provide the coverage you want while you’re at the gym and they’re great for women who are larger-chested. They provide lots of support and you don’t even need to wear a tank with them.

Tie-Dye

It’s no surprise this trend made its way to activewear. These leggings are just so much fun!

Statement Shoes

You’re going to be wearing these every time you hit the gym, so why not get a pair you really like? Invest in sine that are stylish and comfy, your feet will thank you later.

Neon

You can go as bold as you want with this trend; if you want a subtler look stick to black activewear with neon trims or you can always rock a bright pink sports bra. The choice is yours!

Logos

This look transitions great into everyday wear. Inspired by the 90s, logos give us the throwback feels we love.

Nike is becoming a more inclusive brand and they want the world to know it. The brand opened a new women’s floor at NikeTown London in June where they sell “extended offerings of plus-sizes” and customized sportswear. The store includes plus-size and para-sport mannequins.

“To celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of sport, the space will not just celebrate local elite and grassroot athletes through visual content, but also show Nike plus size and para-sport mannequins for the first time on a retail space,” Nike’s press release said.

Nike’s been offering plus-size clothes since 2017, when they collaborated with model Paloma Elsesser, influencers Danielle Vanier and Grace Victory, and hammer thrower Amanda Bingson. In 2018, they launched a long-term collaboration with Victory and this year, they showcased the plus-size range with a help of influencer Chloe Elliott.
