Even if you’re hitting the gym on a regular basis and trying to keep your diet healthy, you might still fall into a trap of becoming a sedentary athlete. Long periods of inactivity somehow manage to sneak their way into our daily life, but here are three useful trips how to avoid them.

Active Commute

If you can avoid driving or taking a bus to work, do your best to do so. We know it can be exhausting especially early in the morning, but biking, parking further away or walking to the next bus stop is a good habit we should all cultivate.

Active Social Time

The best way to stay active is doing it with other people who might also be struggling with sedentary life style. Instead of having drinks with your friends, you can also mix things up by going hiking or dancing every once in a while.

Active TV Time

Binge watching Netflix on daily basis doesn’t necessarily mean you have to turn into a couch-potato. Instead of sitting or lying down, you can also do a couple of easy exercises or house chores while your favorite show plays in the background.
