Constantly Exhausted? 4 Reasons Why You May Be Tired

Do you find yourself constantly feeling tired? Perhaps you feel like you need a nap just a few hours after waking up, you’re still exhausted after your third cup of coffee, or you’re body feels tired, but your brain is fully awake. Knowing why you’re tired may help you deal with it. Here are four reasons you may be tied.

Hormone Issues

With the pandemic and the black lives matter movement, things around us are extremely overwhelming right now and your stress hormone is likely overactive. When you view everything as a threat, your body sends out hormones like adrenaline to help you quickly deal with the situation. This can cause you to have poor sleep or low energy.

Real life talk… 💭 . I don’t know about you, but I like when accounts have a mix; uplifting or funny posts, informational content, motivational & inspirational quotes, but also the REAL stuff. The struggle. The process. The desire to change. . Most people want to show their best selves (I can be guilty of that), but it’s more beneficial to share ALL of it. No one is perfect and no one has a perfect life. #keepingitreal . That being said, lol I am having a horrible month and start to 2020 when it comes to how I feel inside and out. I’m struggling with hormone issues (although on bio-identical hormones for 3 years), and it’s making me hold on to weight and water; like quite a bit for me, and fatigued me each day. 😴 . After how hard I’ve worked and stuck to my plan I made on January 2nd, it has depressed me and quite frankly, pissed me off, and made me want to take a break from here. I’m about to turn another year older, and that’s not helping me mentally/emotionally at all. 🙎🏼‍♀️ . But after something the priest said at church Sunday, then this morning in an email from @proverbs31ministries and my Day 4 reading in “The Purpose Driven Life”, I need to be focusing more on God and not myself. Sure, He wants me to be healthy, but I need to be more concerned with the life after this one 👼🏼 than making my body my number one focus now. #newperspective . “When this tent we live in — our body here in earth — is torn down, God will have a house in heaven for us to live in, a home He himself has made, which will last forever.” . So I’m here to say, I’m not the best version of my physical self (despite my best efforts), yet here I am. I also know this too shall pass (hopefully sooner than later 😜🙏🏼!)And if you are struggling too, stay the course, better days will come, and I’d love to hear your thoughts…💗 . #strugglebus #over40fitness #2020goals #hormoneissues #weightlossstruggles #womenshealth #Godfirst #templetribes

Underlying Medical Issues

Thyroid conditions, cardiovascular issues, depression, fibromyalgia, anemia, liver disease, autoimmune disorder, and kidney disease, etc. can cause tiredness.

To think i have spent 5 years battling with #doctors who do not understand the fatigue of people living without a #thyroid like me or for anyone who is suffering with a #thyroidcondition. The #fatigue is a #MASSIVE thing that takes over your life you keep pushing until the point of exhaustion!! And then it effects your mood because of the constant tiredness 🥴 My bloods are apparently within the scale that they use to be average regardless how i explain how i am feeling, so nothing gets done, no #mentalsupport on how to cope with the tiredness and low moods that go along with it. And i am sure alot of people with the same condition will agree with me!! I AM SO GLAD… that i took into my own hands to get some therapy to be able to work on my mindset and overcome how to deal with the low moods and i have now changed my morning coffee to one that gives me energy to get me through my full day!!! I would never have imagined one cup of coffee could have changed my life but to be able to feel energy in a natural way something i have lacked for so long is just incredible, i now wake up smiling knowing i can tackle anything that comes my way and it all starts with the cup of #COFFEE!! #cafeteandoando☕ #natural #health #wellness #benefits #cup #mug #coffee #magic #tierdness #lowmoods #workinprogress #thyca #cancer #thyroidcancer #mystory

Low Energy, Less Exercise

When you feel tired, you’re less likely to workout or you’ll exercise at a lower intensity which makes you less tired, leading to a viscous cycle. Exercising can increase your energy, so even if you’re tired, give it a try.

Blood Sugar Crash

Eating lots of processed foods which are high in refined carbs and added sugar can affect your blood sugar—soon after eating these foods you’ll feel a burst of energy and then you’ll crash, making you feel tired.
