Get Your Protein in Early with this Avocado Toast

A high-protein breakfast is an excellent way to start the day. Not only does protein help to build muscle, but it also keeps hunger at bay. Why not add an extra burst of protein to your avocado toast for a delicious and nutritious breakfast? Here’s how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 avocado
  • 4 slices halloumi cheese
  • 2 slices Australian bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Everything Bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mash the avocado with a few squeezes of lemon and spread it on the toasted bread. 
  2. Grill the halloumi slices in a hot pan until they are golden brown on both sides. 
  3. Fry the bacon or place it in the air fryer until it is extremely crispy. 
  4. Fry the eggs sunny-side up or poach them. Be careful not to break the egg and keep the center runny. 
  5. Assemble all the ingredients on the toast, top with salt and pepper, and Everything Bagel seasoning if you wish.
