Traveling is an enriching experience, but it can also totally offset your routine. Fitness regimes tend to go out the window, but one thing that shouldn’t is your hydration. Keeping hydrated is super important, no matter where in the world you find yourself. Here are some ways to help.

H20 on the Go

Always carry a reusable water bottle with you. Fill it up with fresh water whenever you spot a hydration station at the airport or train station, and create little challenges for yourself to remind you to drink. Take a sip each time you see someone wearing a hat, for example.

Electrolytes to the Rescue

Water is always the go-to to increase your fluid intake, but sometimes you need a little more help to stay hydrated. Long flights, high temperatures, and strenuous activities can all result in you losing electrolytes. Store a few packs of electrolyte powder that you can stir into your water, or grab an energy drink during your journey.

Hunger Hydration

No one has time to be hangry while exploring the globe. Make sure you keep your blood sugar levels stable while hydrating at the same time. Take along water-rich fruits and vegetables like watermelon, cucumbers, and grapes.
