How Vera Wang Manages to Stay in Shape in Her 70s

Vera Wang recently turned 71, but that’s not stopping her from being in the best shape of her life. Her lean physique left many of her fans speechless, but how exactly does she manage to stay so fit?

Back in 2016, the famous designer told InStyle that she’s not “a huge exercise person”. Her workout routine mostly consists of cycling around her neighborhood and doing light and quick weight training. She also enjoys passive sports, such as golf.

Wang doesn’t have to exercise for hours each day to stay fit, because she’s devoted to her clean diet. She only drinks water and an occasional vodka cocktail, never misses a meal, and mostly eats brown rice, vegetables, and lean proteins—including chicken and fish.

Wang admitted that she felt pressured into working out every day because she’s surrounded by people who are “extremely fit”. She is, however, a huge fan of activewear clothes, and repeatedly shared photos that show her pairing off athleisure pieces with high heels and jewelry.
