Olivia Munn is the latest celebrity to appear on the cover of Women’s Health and she shared all of her fitness secrets. Her healthy routine includes meditation, martial arts, and many alternative treatments.

It took years for The Newsroom actress to get into meditation, since she has always struggled with stopping her train of thought. Things turned upside down after she discovered a brain-sensing headband called Muse, which translates brain activity into guided meditation sounds.

She’s been a fan of meditation ever since, and she’s constantly trying alternative healing treatments, including magnet therapy and the ancient Chinese healing technique called gua sha.

Munn’s fitness routine includes 30 minutes of shadowboxing and kicking, 15 minutes of abs, and stretches before and after every workout. Looking and feeling her best isn’t motivating enough for her; she has always needed a specific goal. Her biggest love, however, is martial arts – especially tae kwon do.

“When you do martial arts, it makes you feel like you’re physically capable of anything. And the great side effect is that when you’re in your best shape, you actually will look your best too.” explained Munn.
