Carrie Underwood is no stranger to sharing workout photos on Instagram, and her latest made one thing clear: she never misses a leg day. The country superstar showed off her toned legs in a gym selfie and revealed the workout routine that keeps her fit.

In addition to being a seven-time Grammy winner, Underwood is also a successful entrepreneur, especially in the field of fitness. She’s the author of fitness and lifestyle book Find Your Path, and the owner of activewear line CALIA, but did you know she also founded fitness app Fit52?

Judging by her recent fitness-related Instagram post, Underwood is an avid user of this app that she created with her personal trainer Eve Overland. She can’t imagine her workouts without it, and she currently swears by the “13-card draw” workout.

Fit52 app was designed around a deck of cards, and workouts consist of either 52 exercises or 26 exercises. The cards you pull also determine the number of reps per exercise. The main idea behind this workout program is to diversify your routine, but it sure sounds intense. Underwood doesn’t seem to be complaining, and her legs look more toned than ever thanks to this routine.

Country singer Carrie Underwood is in awesome shape, and she even has her own fitness app called Food52. That’s exactly why most of us are interested in finding out more about her fitness routine. American Idol winner and country superstar Carrie Underwood is in amazing shape and she has her trainer Eve Overland to thank for that. The two have been working together for over a decade and they even teamed up to create workouts for Underwood’s fitness app Fit52. Regardless of how busy the singer is, she always makes time for fitness. To maintain her full-body strength, Underwood swears by these five exercises.

Bodyweight Squat to Tuck Jump

Explosive moments are a key part of Underwood’s workouts and the bodyweight squat to tuck jump targets different muscle fibers while working on strength, power, control, and agility.

Walking Lunges

With squats and lunges, there are a ton of variations. Walking lunges are one of Underwood’s favorites and they build lower-body strength and improve balance.

Renegade Rows

Renegade moves challenge core stability by focusing on anti-rotation (performing each row without rotating your torso). This upper-body exercise also works the back and shoulders.

Biceps Curls

The singer loves bicep curls and whenever she can she’ll squeeze the exercise in. Bicep curls increase your arm strength.

Hanging Leg Raises

“It took time to find my way and navigate my wellness journey, and this book will provide tips and tools to help the reader find what is practical and sustainable in his or her everyday life for all 52 weeks of the year, and help lead them toward a positive lifestyle,” said Carrie Underwood while discussing her new book with People Magazine.

Find Your Path will detail the singer’s approach to working out, eating healthy, and feeling beautiful in her own skin, but it’s not her first fitness-related project. Underwood previously launched her own activewear brand Calia, and she has given us several amazing collections over the years.

Fall workout clothes are all about layering and comfort – and so is Carrie Underwood’s new Calia activewear range. The country superstar recently dropped her latest line of fitness appeal, and it’s got us jumping for joy.

Like all of her previous collections, the famous singer tried to come up with a range of cute, but comfortable and versatile pieces – especially with the cooler months just around the corner.

“When we get together and design Calia, we talk about what’s going to work in the gym and what layering pieces would be great for going to the grocery store after a workout or coffee with my best friend. I want clothes that will move with me throughout my entire day,” Carrie Underwood told Prevention Magazine.

Carrie Underwood’s love for fitness knows no bounds, but that doesn’t mean all of her gym sessions are completely effortless. The famous singer recently opened up about her post-baby routine and admitted she really struggled to get back on track.

Underwood welcomed her second son Jacob back in January and admitted “it takes a while to feel like yourself again” while chatting with Good Morning America.

“I get frustrated because I have high expectations for myself. And after having my second child, going into the gym when I got the clear from my doctor, doing a push-up was way harder than it was not too long ago,” said Carrie Underwood.

This wasn’t the first time that country superstar opened up about her struggles to bounce back after giving birth. Back in March, she posted a lengthy post on Instagram, describing her post-baby routine.

Despite many obstacles along the way, Underwood made a promise to herself to “stop analyzing every angle and every curve and every pound and every meal” and focus on her journey instead.

Most celebrities struggle sticking with their fitness routine when they hit the road, but not Carrie Underwood. The country star tries to find time to sneak in a workout everywhere she goes, even during long and demanding concert tours.

Underwood is currently busy promoting her new album Cry Pretty, but that’s not stopping her from staying active on a daily basis. She recently posted a photo from her mobile gym, working out alongside her husband Mike Fisher.

The 36-year-old singer has always been very open about her love for fitness. She built her mobile gym three years ago, in order to make the most of her workouts while on tour, and admitted it’s actually easier for her to stay fit when she’s not home.

“I get super excited when we go on tour because I feel like that’s my most consistent workouts. The road is kind of different in that I don’t have a house to clean, I don’t have as much laundry to do. It’s just a little easier in some parts of my life,” explained Carrie Underwood while chatting with E!
