Halle Berry is one of our biggest fitness muses in Hollywood, and she likes chic activewear just like the rest of us. That’s why she decided to form a partnership with a popular activewear brand Sweaty Betty, and their second collection together is even better than the first.

Berry’s wellness brand Respin recently joined forces with Sweaty Betty for a limited-edition, 24-piece collection that’s perfect for fall. It features everything from cozy loungewear to cashmere socks and quilted ponchos made by high-compression, sweat-wicking fabric called Super Soft.

Berry’s main goal for this collection was to create “pieces that are effortless, adaptable, layer-able and will fit into an active lifestyle perfectly.” She saw Sweaty Betty as a perfect partner in crime because they know how to make technical activewear that looks and performs great at the same time.

Halle Berry is one of those celebrities who regularly shares her fitness routine online, and the more we learn about it, the more impressed we are. The Oscar-winning actress recently shared a photo of her toned abs, that she owes to the combination of boxing and MMA.

This isn’t the first time that Berry shared her love for boxing with the world. She previously gushed about it in one of her Instagram posts from 2018 and called it “one of the best full-body workouts” because it allows you to sculpt every muscle and burn major calories and fat along the way.

Berry enjoys boxing because it helps you build confidence and decrease stress, but it’s not the only routine she uses to get an epic six-pack. She also described mixed martial arts, such as jiu-jitsu and capoeira, as “a recipe for really strong abs.”

Berry also said that MMA has been one of the biggest game-changers for her abs because you’re using your core the whole time. Even after years of doing crunches and sit-ups, the combination of boxing and martial arts did more for her six pack than any other fitness routine.

Berry shared this workout video as a part of her ongoing #fitnessfriday challenge and dedicated it to everyone who wants to transform their abs, especially working mothers like herself.

“My abdomen is my problem area so I have to work extra hard. I enjoyed my holiday time off a little too much, but now I’m back at it. I share with you my ab workout after my workout. YEP, that’s what I said. I do a whole workout after my workout,” wrote Berry on Instagram.

The brief video shows her wearing a Respin waist slimmer, while the rest of the exercises were shared in her Instagram stories. She can be seen doing three sets of 50 reps of ankle-weighted knee-ups, cross kick-ups, sit-ups, and additional four sets of 20 reps of plank pull-backs. You can change the workout type week after week and never explore all the available options. One activity may be a bit more fun than many others and that’s rope skipping. If you’d like to give it a try, all you need is a skipping rope and some simple guidelines.

The skipping rope workout we’re sharing with you below was recently posted on Instagram by actress and fitness enthusiast Halle Berry. “No better time than now to take a mini self-care break for this week’s #FitnessFriday,” the actress wrote. She introduced her friend Raquel Horsford, who’s also an actor and the owner of RockYourBest. “Today, she will be walking you through one of the easiest ways you can re-focus your energy, even for a few minutes, to your body – jumping rope,” Berry wrote.

If you’d like to try the workout, here’s what you need to do:

  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec jacks, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec high knee jumps, 60 sec knee taps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec lateral jumps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec alternating single leg jumps, 30 sec alternating knee drives into plank jumps, 30 sec rest.

Actress Halle Berry has always been a huge fan of fitness and her diet helps support her health and well-being. Since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 22, Berry has stayed away from certain foods and she sat down with Women’s Health to talk about the foods you won’t find in her diet.

Sugar

Before she was diagnosed with diabetes, Berry loved sugar. The actress used to start her day with sugary cereal and always had a candy bar with her. After being diagnosed, she stopped eating sugar completely and within a few weeks, her cravings disappeared. She only eats sweats on her kid’s birthdays and she snacks on low-sugar fruits.

White Carbs

She quickly learned that the body breaks down refined carbs into sugar, so she stopped eating them to manage her diabetes. She doesn’t eat rice, pasta, or bread. After cutting out white carbs, she swapped high-carb foods with low-carb alternatives and healthy fats. Instead of eating mashed potatoes or pasta, she eats cauliflower mash with butter and salt and zucchini noodles.

Conventional Wine

As a wine lover, she didn’t want to to completely give up wine, so she found a natural, organic alternative that contains no added sugars or chemicals and they don’t have as much sugar or alcohol as the average bottle of wine.

Halle Berry is constantly posting workout videos online, and many of them happen to include resistance bands. The Oscar-winning actress recently shared her favorite moves with Women’s Health, and you can easily incorporate them into your workout.

Biceps Curls

Stand in the middle of a resistance strap with one or both feet, while holding its ends in each hand and arms at your sides. Curl wrists up toward your chest by bending your elbows and make sure to keep your upper arms still.

Front Raise

Extend your arms out and up until they’re straight up overhead, while keeping your elbows straight.

Lateral Raise

Lateral raises are similar to front ones, but your arms should be extended out to the sides until they reach shoulder height.

Berry recommends reversing the movement and returning to start after each move. Her own fitness routine consists of three to five rounds of 10-30 reps, and it was developed by her personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas.

If you’re looking for new virtual fitness classes because you got bored with the usual ones, there are so many to choose from. You can change the workout type week after week and never explore all the available options. One activity may be a bit more fun than many others and that’s rope skipping. If you’d like to give it a try, all you need is a skipping rope and some simple guidelines.

The skipping rope workout we’re sharing with you below was recently posted on Instagram by actress and fitness enthusiast Halle Berry. “No better time than now to take a mini self-care break for this week’s #FitnessFriday,” the actress wrote. She introduced her friend Raquel Horsford, who’s also an actor and the owner of RockYourBest. “Today, she will be walking you through one of the easiest ways you can re-focus your energy, even for a few minutes, to your body – jumping rope,” Berry wrote.

If you’d like to try the workout, here’s what you need to do:

  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec jacks, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec high knee jumps, 60 sec knee taps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec lateral jumps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec alternating single leg jumps, 30 sec alternating knee drives into plank jumps, 30 sec rest.

Actress Halle Berry has always been a huge fan of fitness and her diet helps support her health and well-being. Since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 22, Berry has stayed away from certain foods and she sat down with Women’s Health to talk about the foods you won’t find in her diet.

Sugar

Before she was diagnosed with diabetes, Berry loved sugar. The actress used to start her day with sugary cereal and always had a candy bar with her. After being diagnosed, she stopped eating sugar completely and within a few weeks, her cravings disappeared. She only eats sweats on her kid’s birthdays and she snacks on low-sugar fruits.

White Carbs

She quickly learned that the body breaks down refined carbs into sugar, so she stopped eating them to manage her diabetes. She doesn’t eat rice, pasta, or bread. After cutting out white carbs, she swapped high-carb foods with low-carb alternatives and healthy fats. Instead of eating mashed potatoes or pasta, she eats cauliflower mash with butter and salt and zucchini noodles.

Conventional Wine

As a wine lover, she didn’t want to to completely give up wine, so she found a natural, organic alternative that contains no added sugars or chemicals and they don’t have as much sugar or alcohol as the average bottle of wine.

Halle Berry is constantly posting workout videos online, and many of them happen to include resistance bands. The Oscar-winning actress recently shared her favorite moves with Women’s Health, and you can easily incorporate them into your workout.

Biceps Curls

Stand in the middle of a resistance strap with one or both feet, while holding its ends in each hand and arms at your sides. Curl wrists up toward your chest by bending your elbows and make sure to keep your upper arms still.

Front Raise

Extend your arms out and up until they’re straight up overhead, while keeping your elbows straight.

Lateral Raise

Lateral raises are similar to front ones, but your arms should be extended out to the sides until they reach shoulder height.

Berry recommends reversing the movement and returning to start after each move. Her own fitness routine consists of three to five rounds of 10-30 reps, and it was developed by her personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas.

Halle Berry is over 50, but she’s looking better than ever and it turns out she owes her extraordinary body to one surprising beach essential. The Oscar-winning actress recently shared a series of workout videos, and it turns out a single towel is a part of all of them.

Unlike the rest of us, who are mostly using towels to get rid of the sweat after a workout, Berry is using them all the way through. Her trainer Peter Lee Thomas introduced her to a series of ab exercises that require no equipment, as long as you add a towel to the mix.

Berry embraced this routine because it isolates various muscles in your abdomen to ignite your whole core no matter where you are. She also recommended it to her followers because it utilizes one essential everyone has at home.

The list of exercises she’s done alongside Thomas includes sit-ups, Russian twists, squats, burpees, and much more. It’s the perfect routine for summer vacations when you have no fancy equipment at your disposal – apart from your favorite beach towel.
