Halle Berry Can’t Get Enough of This Skipping Rope Circuit Workout

If you’re looking for new virtual fitness classes because you got bored with the usual ones, there are so many to choose from. You can change the workout type week after week and never explore all the available options. One activity may be a bit more fun than many others and that’s rope skipping. If you’d like to give it a try, all you need is a skipping rope and some simple guidelines.

The skipping rope workout we’re sharing with you below was recently posted on Instagram by actress and fitness enthusiast Halle Berry. “No better time than now to take a mini self-care break for this week’s #FitnessFriday,” the actress wrote. She introduced her friend Raquel Horsford, who’s also an actor and the owner of RockYourBest. “Today, she will be walking you through one of the easiest ways you can re-focus your energy, even for a few minutes, to your body – jumping rope,” Berry wrote.

If you’d like to try the workout, here’s what you need to do:

  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec jacks, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec high knee jumps, 60 sec knee taps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec jumps, 30 sec lateral jumps, 30 sec rest
  • 60 sec alternating single leg jumps, 30 sec alternating knee drives into plank jumps, 30 sec rest.
