]]>Park mostly used to focus on cardio before the pandemic, but she turned things around in recent years and Pilates became her go-to workout routine.
“Now, for me, working out is not about losing weight; it’s not about burning calories. Instead, I feel a difference when I am stronger and more muscled. It changes the trajectory of my mental state because I’ve taken care of myself in some way,” she told Women’s Health.
Park heavily relies on personal training sessions because she believes they’re a great way to keep yourself accountable, training with Sarah Brooks when she’s in New York City and Brandon Perry when she’s in Los Angeles.
Even though her workout routine went through a major overhaul, Park still enjoys running, but she hasn’t been doing it much since spraining her ankle earlier this year. This injury made her realize how important it is not to put too much pressure on your body and give it enough time to heal.

]]>Planning your workouts around your cycle can help you hack your metabolism and increase your activities’ effectiveness. This is because your metabolism changes throughout your cycle’s pattern. Since it is not the same every day or every week, it makes sense to change your workouts based on where you are in your cycle. By matching your caloric intake, workout type, and intensity with each phase of your cycle, you can optimize the use of stored fat.
Taking notice of your body and how you are feeling is essential. Listen to your body, track your cycle and notice how you feel at each stage of your process. It’s vital to be kind to yourself no matter what stage you are in. Listening to your body is always the key to how we are truly feeling.

]]>The Desperate Housewives star has been doing mini trampoline workouts for quite some time and she swears by online classes created by a New York trampoline studio The Ness.
“It makes me present. You really have to focus on the routine and memorize the movements. They switch sides a lot, which can throw you off, so you have to be on top of it. I love that,” the actress told Women’s Health.
Longoria’s workout for the day isn’t done after 30 or 45 minutes of bouncing on the trampoline. She tends to round her hour with strength training, but she also enjoys everything from kettlebell flow classes to yoga and meditation. Her priority is to get her body moving every day, even if it’s just stretching or going for a walk.
As for her diet, Longoria is one of many Hollywood stars who embraced the practice of intermittent fasting, and she usually eats within an eight-hour window between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Her diet includes a lot of veggies and protein, such as steak, fish, or chicken, but she’s trying to add more plant-based ingredients to her diet. As for her guilty pleasures, Longoria isn’t a fan of sweets or chocolate, but she can’t resist pretzels, popcorn, and potato chips.

After her regular fitness routine was interrupted this year, she realized she doesn’t have to go all-in with each workout, and discovered more relaxing ways of staying in shape—such as walking, hiking, and reformer Pilates.
“I always thought, I need to sweat out my weight in water, I need to have muscle failure, I need to feel like I just ran a marathon—that’s how hard I needed to work out. I’ve learned to mix it up and not feel like a failure if I’m not, you know, killing myself,” explained Alba.
The Sin City star also took a moment to discuss her eating habits and her personal idea of moderation with Women’s Health. Alba said she tries to eat plant-based four days a week, but admitted that “all bets are off” on the weekends when she doesn’t watch her diet and enjoys indulging in her favorite comfort foods.
