One popular solution for every problem is drinking water. It may sound annoying to hear all the time, but it comes in handy, especially if you work out often. Water transports nutrients, regulates body temperature, and energizes you while you sweat. You should drink enough water during exercise to help keep you hydrated and fit.

Dehydration reduces strength

When you don’t drink enough water during exercise, you can get dehydrated, and this will reduce your aerobic ability and muscle strength drastically. Drink water before and during exercise to reach your fitness goals.

Symptoms of dehydration

Fatigue is a common sign of dehydration during work out. It is normal to feel tired after a workout, but if you are fatigued earlier, it may be a sign of dehydration. An abnormal heart rate and mid-workout cramping, are also signs of dehydration.

Other uncommon signs besides darker urine include stinky breath and feeling hungry. Your saliva production reduces when you are dehydrated, and this leads to an increase in stinky mouth bacteria. This is where the stinky breath comes from.
