3 Mistakes You’re Probably Making While Doing Jumping Jacks

Jumping jacks are one of the best cardio exercises you can do without any equipment whatsoever, and most of us learned how to do them in our youth. Mistakes still can be made, and if you’re trying to do this exercise properly, try avoiding these three.

Bending Your Knees

Jumping jacks are one of the best exercises on the market, because they activate several muscle groups at the same time. Unfortunately, they won’t do anything for your glutes if you don’t maintain proper posture and end up bending your knees while doing them.

Simultaneous Movement

All the parts of your body should be in perfect harmony while you’re performing this move. Everything should be going out and coming in at the same time, in order to do this exercise properly.

Proper Support

Jumping jacks are a high-impact exercise and they can put a lot of stress on your feet if you don’t have proper support. Pick a pair of supportive shoes and only do them on flat and even surfaces that absorb shock.
