5 Foods You Should Always Have in Your Fridge

Sometimes snacking between meals is unavoidable, and snacking is totally okay as long as you’re eating the right types of foods. Unfortunately, when we snack, we tend to grab whatever is in eye-sight, which is usually chips or cookies. It’s easier to stick to your diet when you have these foods stocked in your fridge.

Whole-Wheat Tortillas

Most of the carbs in whole-wheat tortillas are complex carbs, so they won’t spike your blood sugar. Top the tortillas with low-fat shredded cheese or bananas and peanut butter, for something a bit sweeter.

Peanut Butter

Peanut butter is full of calories, but when eaten in moderation, it’s really nutritious. Put some peanut butter on whole-grain pitas or celery stalks.

Almonds are a great alternative to greasy snacks like chips or crackers and they taste amazing in smoothies, cereals, and yogurts.
