Allbirds is the Latest Brand to Enter the Activewear Scene

The activewear scene is thriving right now, and the sustainable shoe brand Allbirds is the latest to enter the chat. They recently expanded their line with a new activewear collection, which aims to make your workout routine more eco-friendly.

Allbirds is known for their environmentally friendly approach to fashion, and they avoid using polyester in their clothes and shoes. Their running clothes are generally made with eucalyptus tree fiber and merino wool, and that also happens to be the case with their new activewear line.

“For us at Allbirds, the disconnect between what we wear to improve our personal health and its negative impact on the health of our planet seemed like an important space for us to tackle. Running apparel is typically made of synthetic materials, derived from barrels of oil,” Allbirdsco-founder Tim Brown told CNBC.

In addition to being eco-friendly, Allbirds’ fabrics are great at wicking sweat, and they’re breathable, soft, and comfy. The first drop includes running tees, tank tops, shorts, and leggings, among other items. Most of them were crafted with running in mind, but can be used in a wide range of other activities or as day-to-day wear.

They range in price between $48 for tank tops and $125 for running shoes and can be purchased on Allbirds’ official website.
