Beyoncé’s activewear line Ivy Park’s collaboration with Adidas will be available on January 18.
Ivy Park split from Topshop last year and the singer announced back in April that she was partnering with Adidas. She posted the announcement on Instagram in a series of six posts. In two of the posts, her box braids, which are giving us major hair envy, read Ivy Park in cream and maroon beads. The other photos include a gold Ivy Park grill in Beyoncé teeth, an Ivy Park ear cuff, a sweatshirt in maroon, a gold Ivy Park ring, and white sneakers with maroon and orange detailing.
Beyoncé told Elle that the collection is influenced by her style, “It incorporates my personal style and expands that to include something for everyone. I love experimenting with fashion, mixing high and low, sportswear with couture, even masculine and feminine. This new line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power.”
She also said that the collection is going to have gender-neutral items, “This new line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power. I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear and apparel because I saw so many men in IVY PARK. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules.”
