No matter your age, you’re never too old for a Disney marathon and runDisney, which organizes marathons at Walt Disney parks, has just launched a series of cross-training workouts themed to a Disney movie you can stream on Disney+. They’re the perfect way to get your Disney fix while staying active and we’re totally here for it.

The workouts posted by runDisney are usually geared towards runners who are training for virtual race, especially the Disney World Marathon, which has been postponed to early 2021. But these workouts are a great high-intensity exercise routine for anyone who wants to get their heart racing.

The first movie on runDisney’s workout is The Little Mermaid. “What better way to flip your fins and get your body moving than with this at-home…oh what’s that word again? WORKOUT!,” reads the runDisney blog post.

The workout includes five exercises that are meant to be done while watching the film. The first exercise is wall sits, which are to be done while Prince Eric sings “Mysterious Fathoms Below”, followed by 15 jumping jacks when Flounder acts guppy, 15 clamshells (each leg) when Sebastian acts crabby, plank when Prince Eric plays the flute, and 5 burpees when you see a dinglehopper.

Keep an eye out for more themed workouts that will be posted on runDisney’s blog.
