Grimes’ Unusual Fitness Routine is Out of This World

Grimes recently fronted Adidas’ latest campaign with Stella McCartney and used this opportunity to share her fitness routine with the world. It includes everything from sword-fighting and deprivation tanks to actual screaming sessions.

Grimes promoted her Adidas collab in a lengthy Instagram post that detailed her seriously bonkers training regimen, that’s unlike anything we’ve ever heard of before.

“In the afternoons I do a 1-2 hour sword fighting session with my trainer, James Lew, we go over the fundamentals that work the obliques, core stabilizes, and triceps as well as a few tricks. To wind down from this I spend 30-45 minutes on an inclined hike at roughly 4-4.5 miles per hour, arguably the most efficient workout,” wrote Grimes.

The Canadian singer is also a huge fan of deprivation tanks because they allow her to “astro-glide to other dimensions – past, present, and future.” Screaming session that last 20-25 minutes are also an essential part of her regiment, and if we’re being completely honest – they actually sound like an amazing stress reliever.
