New York is a city known for being expensive. It’s ranked #13 in the world, and we all know why. Rent, food, gym classes, all take hours of a minimum wage salary to pay for. But there is one exception, and that’s yoga classes.

Yoga to the People is a chain of donation-based yoga studios that allow you to pay for your practice at your own discretion. They believe that everyone should be able to practice yoga regardless of their financial status.

There are currently six YTTP studios in New York City, scattered over uptown, downtown, and Brooklyn. They feature a range of styles and dedicated teachers, and their studios often have spectacular views of the city.

Yoga to the People has expanded across the US, and some international cities are even following its lead.
