Pushups and Abs in the Waves

Supposedly, part of navy seal training includes doing full workouts right in the shallow waves of the ocean, to add an element of urgency, breath control, and resistance to their workouts. You can also try this out yourself to get those same benefits–just be sure to listen to your body and to stop if it gets too intense.

Running

Running in the sand is a great way to add an extra challenge to your running routine. Running on the wet sand provides a beautiful view and cooling ocean spray. If you want to enjoy the yummy foods on your holiday, but still stay in shape, you need to think about your workouts. And what is a better place to exercise than a beautiful beach? Do it early in the morning or in the evening when there aren’t many people.

There are 8 obstacles which should be performed in one minute. When you’re done with your exercise take a break for 15 seconds and then carry on with the next obstacle.

  • Obstacle 1: Burpees
  • Obstacle 2: Bike Abs
  • Obstacle 3: Push-Ups
  • Obstacle 4: Skater Jumps
  • Obstacle 5: Plank
  • Obstacle 6: Forward and Back Jumps
  • Obstacle 7: Triceps Dips
  • Obstacle 8: Jumping Jacks

When you have completed all the exercises, return to the starting position and repeat everything. Do two rounds of the entire circuit and then move onto the final part – sprints.

After the second round of training, do not take a break. Instead, do sprints. This beach workout will wear out your body and enhance your strength and endurance.

According to their website Centr “believe[s] in training hard, eating right and living well – the three ingredients for a healthy, happy and well-balanced life.”

In the video, we see Pataky on the beach demonstrating the workout. It involves walking lunges, forward and reverse crawls, alternating sit thrus, and squats. She shows how many times to do each and how many times to repeat the whole cycle.
