“The Rocky Horror” HIIT Workout is the Halloween Treat We Need

Halloween is finally here, and if you want to celebrate your favorite holiday with a fun workout, we’ve got quite a treat. Workout videos inspired by this spooky holiday have taken YouTube by storm this month and one of our favorites is inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Like many of the popular musical-themed workouts in the last few months, this one was shared by the dance cardio channel emkfit. Emily Thorne dedicated her YouTube page to making workouts fun and accessible through the use of popular music.

That’s also the idea behind her HIIT Rocky Horror workout that you can complete in 20 minutes without any equipment. The list of songs from the popular musical in this video includes “Dammit Janet,” “Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me,” and “Time Warp”.

When it comes to Thorne’s workout moves, they’re just as quirky as the movie itself, but that won’t stop them from giving you a major calorie burn. In between the awkward jumping and air guitars, this video actually features a long list of demanding moves, such as mountain climbers and different variations of squats and burpees.
