It doesn’t really matter if this is your first marathon or not, the way you’ll prepare is very much the same. Not knowing the right tips can cost you a lot. This becomes even more important if you are running to win. There are so many things to think of ahead of time, and we’re here to make your journey easier and more enjoyable.

Short Is Better

Choosing a shorter track is very important, especially for beginners. While you’re getting ready you’ll see whether you should opt for a long path, or be secure and go with the shorter version.

Mix It Up

When preparing for the marathon, there are several things you should work on. You should not only run to reach the goal in terms of km. Instead, mix things up by paying attention to strength. Inclined surfaces should do the job. Another thing to add is speed run.

Recover

Don’t run 7 days a week. Give your body the time to recover. The recommended number of times you should practice is three to four times a week. During the other days, you can do light exercises, get massages, go shopping for all the foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals, and more.
