In order to last for hours on the court, tennis stars are required to undergo intense physical and psychological training. What may come as a surprise, however, is that many workouts that some of the top WTA stars perform are basic movements that anyone can perform at the gym or at home. Here are some workouts that WTA stars have shared that you can perform as part of your own routine.

Serena Williams

Yoga forms a vital part of Serena Williams’ daily morning routine. Still, this 23-time Grand Slam winner doesn’t forget to perform essential stretches before her workouts, for example, stretching her hip flexors.

Elina Svitolina

With 17 career titles under her belt, this 26-year-old tennis star has been in fine form since giving birth to her daughter. Elina Svitolina’s intense leg workout includes an array of simple yet testing movements, including jumping squats, lunges, and lying leg lifts.

Bianca Andreescu

At just 23 years old, Bianca Andreescu’s career has skyrocketed since she won the 2019 US Open. This Canadian star’s workout regimen includes a range of workout equipment, including a yoga mat, medicine ball, dumbbell, and long bands. As she said, however, you can replace this equipment with household items if you do not have access to it.
