3 Fun Workouts For People Who Like to Train Solo

Group classes, like Zumba, CrossFit or Pilates aren’t for everyone. Some of us prefer to train solo; get in, workout, get out. We don’t like to be bothered or distracted by others while we are working out – and that’s totally okay.

Kickboxing

Although kickboxing can be done with a partner, you can use a punching bag as your partner. Punching and kicking against a bag will burn those extra calories and will also help you relieve aggression and stress.

Swimming

Swimming is a great way to have your “solo time”. Just go to your local swimming pool, hop into the water, and enjoy your swim. The relaxing sound of water will wash away your worries.

Go to the Gym

If you have enough motivation, and you don’t need a “partner in crime” to push you to your limits, a good solo gym workout is great for you. You don’t have to socialize if you don’t want to.
