Who doesn’t love Starbucks? There’s pretty much one on every corner and when it comes to coffee houses, Starbucks is our favorite. But if you’re trying to be healthier, the drinks don’t always fit into your diet. While they’re super delicious, many of them are loaded with carbs, fat, and added sugars. But there are ways to enjoy Starbucks without compromising on your healthy lifestyle. Here are five ways to make your drink healthier.

Skip Sweeteners

Instead of adding white sugar or syrup to your drink, add sweeteners or a bit of cinnamon or cocoa.

Alternative Milk

Unless asked, Starbucks uses whole milk. They also have 2% milk, oat milk, nonfat milk, soy milk, coconut milk, and almond milk. This can save you lots of calories, if you’re counting them.

Customize Syrup Pumps

Starbucks has tons of syrups, including favorites like caramel and cinnamon dolce. Ask for fewer pumps of syrup or sugar-free ones.

Go Without Whipped Cream

Sure, whipped cream tastes amazing, but it also adds lots of calories and fat. If you can’t fathom going without whipped cream, ask for light whip.

Order a Tall

If you really want a drink and don’t want to make any changes, order a tall instead of a grande or venti. Do you really need that big of a drink to enjoy it?
