Apple’s Launching a Fitness Subscription Service

Many of us use our Apple Watches to track out fitness progress and pretty soon, you’ll be able to do even more with your watch! Apple just announced that they’re releasing Fintess+, an on-demand fitness program for the Apple Watch.

With the fitness program, you can use your Apple Watch with an iPhone, Apple TV, or iPad to play workout videos while seeing how hard you’re pushing yourself. While exercising, your watch will be able to check your heart rate and calories which you’ll be able to see on Apple devices. You can also display a “Burn Bar” which will show the amount of effort you’re putting in compared to those who have completed the workout.

New workouts will be added to the library weekly and you’ll be able to choose between cycling, treadmill, rowing, HITT, strength, yoga dance, core, and mindful cooldown videos. The app will give recommendations for new workouts that are similar to the ones you’ve done.

The trainers that are leading the workouts include Sherica Holmon, Kym Perfetto, and Betina Gozo. The trainers will pick the music that goes along to the workout videos.

Anyone with an Apple Watch 3 or later can use Fitness+ and it will be available by the end of 2020, with a $10 monthly or $80 yearly subscription.
